AVK SUPPORTAt our AVK manufacturing facility in Minden, NV we used an engraving machine to engrave Product Traceability Number into our stems and operating nuts. The engraver was good but in some instances it made reading the numbers difficult for some parts depending on the material the numbers were being engraved on. Recently we discovered laser etching. Upon testing the laser etching on different parts we were able to etch numbers into our parts making them a lot easier to read.
These permanent marks are used for part identification, authenticity, and product traceability throughout the manufacturing process and the life of a part. AVK ensures each product has traceability which provides our customers with every detail about that specific product. This is just one more example of how AVK strives to make continuous improvements to every area of our manufacturing process.
